​Aside from evidence that these little seeds have the ability to lower the risk of heart disease, stroke, and diabetes there are all sorts of healthy components in flaxseeds that have given them a primarily healthy reputation. The following three ingredients are perhaps the most persuasive...

  • Omega-3  Essential Fatty Acids- These are the so called, "good", fats that are advantageous to the cardiovascular system and good for heart health
  • Lignans- Which has both plant estrogen and plant antioxidant qualities- which some studies have suggested can fight breast cancer.
